The company was founded on March 18, 1987, by Augusto Altoé, in the city of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim in the state of Espírito Santo, located in the national hub for processing ornamental rocks. Since then, the company has been investing in the modernization of its manufacturing facilities and expanding its storage areas. Over the years, the Mineração Silva Guimarães group, as it was called, has also been involved in the transportation and extraction of ornamental rocks. Today, the company maintains its focus on processing while keeping its Cristallo deposit active, one of the most translucent materials in the national market.

“Our focus has always been on the domestic market, but we have never stopped exporting to the US, where we have many long-standing customers, mainly Cristallo buyers", says Marcelo Altoé, the company's director and commercial manager.
Being active for more than 30 years has allowed the company to retain customers in several states of Brazil, maintaining a greater presence in SP, MG, PR, TO and RS.
