A empresa foi fundada em 18/03/1987, por Augusto Altoé, na cidade de Cachoeiro de Itapemirim/ES, polo nacional do beneficiamento de rochas ornamentais. Desde então a empresa vem investindo na modernização do parque fabril e ampliação das áreas de estocagem. Ao longo dos anos o grupo Mineração Silva Guimarães, como era chamado, atuou também no segmento de transporte e extração de rochas ornamentais. Hoje a empresa mantém seu foco no beneficiamento, mas mantém ativa sua jazida de Cristallo, um dos materiais mais translúcidos do mercado nacional.

“Our focus has always been on the domestic market, but we have never stopped exporting to the US, where we have many long-standing customers, mainly Cristallo buyers", says Marcelo Altoé, the company's director and commercial manager.
Being active for more than 30 years has allowed the company to retain customers in several states of Brazil, maintaining a greater presence in SP, MG, PR, TO and RS.
