Silva Guimarães Mining was founded on March 18, 1987, by Augusto Altoé, in the city of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim/ES, a national hub for the processing of ornamental stones. Since then, the company has been investing in the modernization of its manufacturing facilities. After a few years, the company changed its name using the initials MSG STONES. And in 2025 it became MSG REVESTIMENTOS, to better reflect its current product line, which no longer included only natural stones. Today, the company maintains its focus on processing, but also keeps its crystal deposit active, one of the most translucent materials on the national market.

“Our focus has always been on the domestic market, but we have never stopped exporting to the US, where we have many long-standing customers, mainly Cristallo buyers", says Marcelo Altoé, the company's director and commercial manager.

Being active for more than 30 years has allowed the company to retain customers in several states of Brazil, maintaining a greater presence in SP, MG, PR, TO and RS.
